Before you mark any project complete, the following three things should happen:
Only one these three criteria have been met should you mark a project complete.
Please note: failing to follow these steps is the most common cause of escalated support tickets.
Once you have completed your project with a client and they have reviewed the work (Check out this article on When Do I Mark a Project Complete if you are not sure if you are ready to proceed), You'll want to mark your project complete so that your client is able to approve it and you can get paid!
To mark a project complete, you'll want to click on the project card to the right in your conversation with your client, and you'll be presented with the following options:

You'll then want to click on "Mark Complete." Once you do so, a message will be sent to your client letting them know you have marked the project complete and is ready for them to review. This message also will provide them a deadline to request changes before the project automatically approves in 72 business hours.
If a client requests changes during this time, you'll want to follow the steps indicated in the article above and once again mark your project complete when the client has initially reviewed the work and given their approval.
