Introducing Tagging and Notifications

We just launched V1 of tagging and notifications! A few reasons why we’re excited:

• Say you love doing a particular kind of project, you can now be notified which will increase your chances of landing the lead.
• Say you’re a specialist and only want to take on certain projects, you can now be notified vs watching the general queue. That should allow us to thoughtfully add new categories (ie: UI designers, E-comm site managers, etc) who previously had to check a lead queue that was not relevant.
• Best of all: more intelligent matching means more successful, longer term relationships between brands and Experts!

Now, when a request is put into Leads, it can be tagged with specific tools and skills, and if the system thinks it may be a great fit for you, you’ll see it highlighted at the top of the queue with the tag “suggested for you.”

Note that this will not restrict your access to potential leads—it’s all about helping you find a great match and improving your experience!

How Do I Set Up Notifications?

Firstly, head to your profile by clicking on your name in the bottom left of your dashboard. You’ll see a new section called “Skills.” Here you can set your preferred skills (up to 3) and your preferred tools (up to 5).

Once you’ve selected your skills, you can choose your preferred notification method. By default, you’ll receive a dashboard notification, but you can also choose to be notified by Slack, email, or text.
